She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
She values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and believes that quality care begins with genuine connection. 
Outside of the clinic, Sam enjoys hiking, traveling, being outdoors, weightlifting, attending church, and spending time with her two boys.
